Spice Hut Sunderland

This place is amazing. The staff are really friendly and the food most importantly was unreal. I ordered the most popular munch box with the lamp chops and a milkshake. It was so much food that two people could have eaten it. Portions are insane. Highly recommend.

Wow! What a positive friendly atmosphere it is in Spice Hut. The place is buzzing with happy expectations as customers make their orders and sit awaiting their food. This Brand New food hot house is immaculately clean and has been tastefully decorated in the company colours. The happy positive buzz in here is infectious. I found myself smiling and my mood lifted once inside. I didn't have a clue and a young man said "I can help you with your order if you like" as he sat next to where I sat to read the menu. He helped me and I soon made my order. I had lamb kebab on a sweet Naan Bread. With Salad and fries. And some garlic mayo sauce and some hot sauce I don't know the name of, no matter, it was lush. I was in a place that was high in excitement and anticipation. There was a positive friendly atmosphere inside. Respectful, happy unified in food. Spice Hut is on Uber Eats. My advice? Order the Lamb Kebab. I did and it was the most lamb tasting lamb I've had in my working memory. I can't explain it better than that. The lamb tastes of lamb and isn't overcome by any of the sauces. I also had sliced lamb in a very tasty "big softy" sub roll. I've taken a few photos which didn't bother anyone at all. The customers are as enthusiastic as those young men behind the counter. I was looked after with respect and good grace. They very quickly realised I'm almost deaf. And got closer and helped me understand. How cool is that to start with? Everyone in here was smiling or laughing and enjoying themselves. They all love the place. It's been open for five days. I stopped and looked in as there was such a positive vibe going on outside and across the street. This will soon be a community hub. The owner spoke to me to check all was ok. The manager spoke to me for the same. The manager was expediting every inch of the way pulling everything together ensuring the service was top notch and the food served quickly. He was very good at it . The young lads serving made sure to engage with me and explain how long it would be. And asked did I like my food spicy hot or medium. We worked it out. I'm glad I went in and my take away was excellent. Like I said I can't remember the last time I had lamb that tasted this good. I'm not able to do it justice with mere words. I will be back here for sure and I will update this review and get better at the names of things.

Everything was perfect todayIt was really nice the shatkora kebeb was a little dry the wings where nice the quater chiken was nice Naga Donna nice chips that where in the box was sogy but the ones on the packet where still crispy it's nice will oder again orded again and everything was perfect

Great food at good prices. Ordered the house special box which for the amount of food is well worth the money. The mixed kebab was very nice and hot. The lamb chops were juicy and tender. The smash burger was cooke to perfection. The nacho fries tasted really nice and worked well with the rest of the meal. The Naga wings were a let down though didn’t taste anywhere as good as I’d thought it be and was a bit soggy. A long wait for the food and place could have been cleaner. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can park on the street outside if spaces available and they also have a toilet.

naga chicken strips are standard strips with naga sauce , The double burger was immense, messy but decent. Chips were just standard French fries. No card payments here , cash only, . Returned the 2nd day , ordered the mixed grill . Price was 14.99 different from the menu price, But waited 20 mins got 2 big chops , 4 chicken bits a naan was buried at the bottom. The naan is spot on , the chicken ,the same as nandos. Got a few dips with it . Might have check out the kebabs if they do em. Day 3 naga kebab meal and naga strips , kebab was colourful, small but filling. Naga strips were spicy

Had a great experience at spice Hut Sunderland! The food was served at the perfect temperature and right on time. Everything was well-organized, and the staff were professional and efficient. The food was delicious aswel—and the service was excellent, staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. Clean, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!
